WHAT MANNER OF SENATOR! SARAKI, DOGARA AND EKWEREMADU GOES TO LONDON TO SELECT NIGERIA SENATE COMMITEE

It is a known fact that President Buhari is working hard to fight corruption but what every Nigerians are not aware of is that the Senate and House of representatives are full of people who do not have the same dreams of the president.

How do you judge a legislative house that has not passed a single bill have sat for 14 times. Most of which was all about who takes what and who occupies where? In those 14 times, they have pocket a whooping 25billion Naira as allowances.

Please let us think as businessmen (remember all our politicians are businessmen too), will you pay your workers for productivity or just coming to mark the attendance register? That is exactly what is happening in the legislative arms of the government of President Buhari. If care is not taken this will be the stumbling block of President and funny enough over two-third of the members of this house are from the ruling house. This fact only upholds the insinuation that the Party-APC is not the party of positive change but a few individuals who are in it. And from the way things are playing out it is becoming clearer and clearer that the Senate has less than one memeber with a desire for positive change.

If you dare to ask how I came to this conclusion, did you know about the Intense lobby for juicy committees by lawmakers has forced Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki and the Speaker House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara to leave the country for the United Kingdom.
It was gathered that Saraki who left the country was joined by Dogara and the deputy senate president, Ike Ekweremadu on Tuesday.
Saraki is the chairman of the selection committee and Ekweremadu is his deputy. The committee is responsible for the disbursement of specific committees to senators.

It was further gathered that Saraki has been facing intense pressure from senators on the committees allocation.
Our correspondent reports that last week, the deadline given to senators to indicate the committee of their elapsed.
The selection committee had given forms to senators to indicate their choices of committee.
It was gathered that Saraki is trying to use juicy committees to placate the aggrieved Ahmad Lawan’s camp.
Lawan was the preferred candidate of the APC but he was surreptitiously defeated by Saraki after conniving with the PDP senators.

But Saraki and Ekweremadu’s aides said their bosses went on separate missions.

The chairman of the senate adhoc committee on publicity, Dino Melaye did not pick his call when he was contacted for comments on the issue.

I wonder why Nigerians do not look inwards for solution. This people travel every now and them to comfortable places but have never thought about how to make this Nation comfortable for other people to come and solve their problems. How long will we continue this way?
